National Housing Department Never Offers K1MMM To Public
The Urban Wellbeing, Housing and Local Government Ministry through the National Housing Department (JPN) has never offered the 1Malaysia Affordable Housing Scheme (K1MMM) to the public.

JPN director-general Datuk Mohamad Yusoff Ghazali said the bogus scheme offered by Serata Prima Sdn Bhd was using the logos of the ministry, the deparatment and Private Affordable Ownership Housing Scheme (MyHome).

"The department has never given any approval to any company or agency to become mediator in the application and implementation of the MyHome programme," he said in a statement Thursday.

Mohamad Yusoff said the department had lodged a police report on the matter at the Precinct 7 police station, here, Wednesday.

He urged the public to report to the department on any dubious housing scheme.

The public and home buyers can also check the validity of any housing incentive or scheme on the JPN official website at http://ehome.kpkt.gov.my or by contacting its Enforcement Division at 03-8000 8000.
