Rising demand for local currency, Ringgit opens at 4.21 against USD today
KUALA LUMPUR, DEC 2, 2015:

The ringgit opened higher in early session against the US dollar this morning on renewed demand for the local currency.

At 9.00 am, the ringgit was quoted at 4.2180/2230 against the greenback versus 4.2300/2350 on Tuesday.

A dealer said the better demand for the ringgit was in tandem with the improved performance on the equities market.
