Tuju Setia bags RM248mil construction job for Hype Residences
KUALA LUMPUR: Tuju Setia Bhd has bagged a RM248 million contract from Sime Darby Property Bhd (Sime Darby Property) to serve as the main contractor for the Hype Residences.

Tuju Setia said its wholly-owned subsidiary, Pembinaan Tuju Setia Sdn Bhd, received the Letter of Award from Sime Darby Property (SJ7) Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Sime Darby Property for the project.

"The construction of Hype Residences, situated on a 4.32-acre site within the masterplan, is expected to commence on Aug 22, 2024, with a targeted completion timeframe of 33 months," it said.

Tuju Setia managing director Wee Eng Kong said this is a significant milestone for Tuju Setia, marking the start of its collaboration with the renowned property developer and underscoring their confidence in its capabilities.

Wee said the contract award underscores our commitment to being the Builder of Choice by consistently delivering projects on time and to high quality standards.

"This commitment is evident in our consistent QLASSIC 1 scores for projects completed this year, 84 per cent for Tuai Timur Residences under Suntrack Development Sdn Bhd and 85 per cent for Savvy Riana Dutamas Residence under 368 Segambut Sdn Bhd," he said.

Hype Residences is part of Sime Darby Property's 34.6-acre SJ7 masterplan development in USJ, Subang Jaya, Selangor.

It consists of a 39-storey building comprising two towers (Tower A and Tower B), complete with podium parking and amenities.

Its strategic location near the USJ7 LRT and BRT stations and major highways like KESAS, LDP, NPE, and ELITE caters to urban dwellers seeking seamless connectivity.
