Jaya Grocer joins Se.duduk D'Kajang in its development
KUALA LUMPUR: Eco World Development Group Bhd (EcoWorld Malaysia) has entered into a memorandum of agreement (MoA) with Jaya Grocer to establish a presence within the Se.duduk D' Kajang residential development in Kajang, Selangor.

Spanning 6.92 acres, this project represents the first duduk series venture outside of an EcoWorld township.

The integration of the supermarket chain within this serviced apartment complex is expected to enhance the living experience for both Se.duduk D' Kajang residents and the surrounding communities.

"Se.duduk D' Kajang is situated in a well-established residential area that has long needed a nearby commercial hub. The introduction of Jaya Grocer is not just about adding a supermarket. It is about elevating the quality of life for both our residents and the surrounding community.

"We believe that Jaya Grocer will become a cornerstone of convenience, providing everyday essentials right at the doorstep of our residents and enriching the entire neighbourhood with its presence," said Liew Tian Xiong, deputy chief executive officer (CEO) of EcoWorld Malaysia.

Jaya Grocer will occupy eight units within Se.duduk Square, the commercial space in the development.

With a gross development value of RM500 million, the project is slated for completion by 2027.

It will feature 1,220 serviced apartment units, spread across five blocks (36-storey Towers A, B, C and D, and 35-storey Tower E), accommodating an estimated population of over 2,500 residents.

The units, each measuring around 1,000 sq ft, are priced starting from RM400,000.
