KUALA LUMPUR: The market for affordable villas is significant in the northern region for property developers and purchaser.

This is true, according to Datuk Beh Huck Lee, managing director of Eupe Corporation Bhd, considering that since the company unveiled Phase 1 of Villa Natura in Sungai Petani, Kedah, in March 2023, there has been a 99.9 per cent take-up rate.

"We are pleased with the overwhelming response received for Phase 1 of Villa Natura, where on the launch day, we saw 80 per cent of our homes booked by buyers.

"This is indeed a huge success for us. Most importantly, the key here is the affordability of the housing products that we are offering," he said.

Villa Natura, spread across 75 acres, features Mediterranean-style villas with seven flexible open layouts.

Beh said the villas are priced attractively to attract the younger market segments who aspire to own a luxury home at an affordable price.

Prices start at RM238,000, with completion expected by 2025, he said.

Due to the success of Phase 1, the company launched Phase 2, with a gross development value of RM47.5 million, on June 3.
