MGB to build 155 houses in Puchong's D'Island residential township for RM46.8mil

MGB Bhd, a construction and property development solutions provider and subsidiary of LBS Bina Group Bhd will build 155 double-storey terrace houses in the D'Island residential township in Puchong for RM46.8 million.
The contract was awarded by Blee & W Architects Sdn Bhd, on behalf of Astana Modal (M) Sdn Bhd, another subsidiary of LBS Bina.
LBS Bina is a significant shareholder in MGB, holding a 58.65 per cent interest in the company. The group managing director of both LBS Bina and MGB is Datuk Wira Lim Hock Guan.
MGB said in a Bursa Malaysia filing that with this contract in hand, the group's current outstanding order book is about RM1.88 billion.
It expects to complete the project by June 21, 2024.
The 155 double-storey terrace homes together referred to as Astella is said to have a RM139 million gross development value.
The project, which is surrounded by a picturesque lake, is intended to enhance the feeling of living by the water.
