KUALA LUMPUR, June 23, 2015:

The ringgit opened lower as traders shifted their interest to the greenback, dealers said.

At 9.05am, the ringgit was quoted at 3.7430/7465 to the US dollar from 3.7300/7340 yesterday.

A dealer said the positive housing data and a jump in the treasury yields supported the US dollar.
