Affordable Housing Project With RM30,000 Govt Subsidy In Labuan This Year
Another affordable housing project with RM30,000 government subsidy will be built here this year.

The walk-up housing flat project on a 14-acre land at Kampung Bukit Kuda with 600 to 700 units will be equipped with Islamic Rehabilitation Centre.

Member of Parliament for Labuan Datuk Rozman Isli said the project upon completion would help low and middle-income earners on the island to own a home.

"We hope this project will assist our locals especially those low-income households to own a house at an affordable price with the help of government subsidy," he said at a press conference after the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Koperasi Pembiayaan Syariah Angkasa Berhad (KOPSYA) and Koperasi Gagasan Ekonomi Nusantara Sabah Berhad, here today.

The housing project, to be sold at RM250,000 per unit and in accordance with Islamic Shariah will, be completed in two years.
